At Auburn Animal Clinic, we have advanced diagnostic equipment that can properly and accurately diagnose underlying conditions in your pet. We use advanced diagnostic technology that can properly and accurately diagnose underlying conditions to prevent and treat health conditions in your pet. Learn more about our diagnostic tools below.
Radiographs, or x-rays, are one of the most commonly used imaging tools we use to examine your dog or cat. X-rays help us evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. This is a non-invasive procedure that allows us to view what is happening within your pet’s internal systems.
Our on-site laboratory allows most screening tests to be completed within a very short period of time. Routine fecal screenings, urinalysis, heartworm tests, complete blood counts, pre-surgical screenings and blood chemistry profiles are among the many tests where results are available very quickly. We also routinely look at cells from masses to evaluate for possible underlying cancers. Reliable independent veterinary laboratories are utilized when deemed appropriate.
